NMSG’s top 20 Easter books for babies and pre-schoolers


In addition to its religious significance, of course, Easter is a holiday associated with Easter egg hunts, munching on hollow chocolate bunnies, and sharing brunch with your loved ones. To help get your little ones excited for Easter or for an alternative gift than candy on Easter Sunday – check out our favourite Easter books! We have included touch and feel, lift-the-flap, push-pull-slide, pop-up, finger-trails and even scratch and sniff books! They aren’t all based on Easter necessarily, but all include something Easter themed, be it bunnies, lambs, chicks or eggs! Any book by Rod Campbell seems to be a family favourite in our house! With this adorable Fluffy Chick book meet all your favourite springtime farm animals, a fun touch-and-feel farm animal book from the creator of the bestselling preschool classic, Dear Zoo. Stroke the woolly lamb, feel the cow's smooth horns and then lift the flap at the end to find out who is hiding under mother hen's wing!


We're Going on an Egg Hunt – Martha Mumford

This is a firm favourite for us! Join the Easter bunnies as they set off on an exciting lift-the-flap Easter egg hunt.
